My name is Daniel Gray. I grew up in
Laurel, Montana, graduated in 1960. I
attended Rocky Mountain College for a very
short time, then joined the Navy. I became
an electronics technician, was a member of
the band at Treasure Island during my
training there. I served on the USS Ranger,
CVA-61 1960-1963. I married Janet
Snyder, and attended American River
College in Sacramento, then University of
California, Davis. I went to Graduate
School at the University of Oregon Health
Sciences Center, Portland, Oregon. While
in Portland we had two children, Ginny and
Tony. I then worked for the VA, managing
computer systems. I retired in 2001, and
we moved back to Portland area. I am now
retired, and am living in the Portland area.
